Abstract
Today Ho Chi Minh City (South Vietnam) copes with its landfills after closure. In practice it has been shown that in several cases the groundwater nearby the landfills is affected by contaminated leakage. Geophysical methods not only map the extension of closed old landfills, but also reveal the pollution plumes. On this basis it is possible to place the actions accurately and timely.<p>The paper presents the the ABEM Lund Imaging System results from Dong Thanh old landfill in southwestern Ho Chi Minh City.
