Taxi: Destination is "Kyodai-kaikan". "Kyodai" is a shortened form of "Kyoto University". Please tell a driver the complete form of your destination. There are many taxis in Kyoto. This is the most comfortable and quick way. Tax fare is 1000-2000 yen from downtown.

Train: Kyodai-kaikan is located at about 10 minutes walk from Marutamachi station. Railway is reasonable and easy way for English speakers, but you may need to transfer trains from your hotel.

Bus: Kyodai-kaikan is located at about 10 minutes walk from Kyodai-seimonmae bus stop. It is difficult to use buses in Kyoto for foreigners. There are many bus lines in Kyoto, so you have a chance to go to Kyoto University directly using only one bus.
