Membership MembershipThe Membership of SEGJ comprises Honorary Members, Active Members, and Corporate Members.
Active Members include overseas residents and foreign members as well as Student Members. The total number of Active Members is 1416 (as of March 2008). This is about 3.5 times the number at the foundation time, although a tendency to decrease is examined in recent years. They are actively engaged in geophysical exploration and related fields.
Corporate Members, 141 members in March 2008, are companies or institutions who are interested in supporting the Society.
Honorary Members are nominated in consideration of their outstanding contributions to promoting of exploration geophysics. Twenty-nine Honorary Members as of May 2008 are:
