Organization

SEGJ consists of its members who are interested in geophysical exploration. The President represents the Society.

SEGJ holds a General Meeting of Members every year, and the President summons a special General Meeting, if necessary.

The officers of the Society are the President, two Vice-Presidents, sixty Councilors, twenty Directors, and two Inspectors. The Board of Directors executes the duties of the Society, and the Council discusses them. The Inspectors audit the acts and the finance.

Eight standing committees take partial charge of the affairs of the Society. An ad-hoc Research Committee is set up whenever it is needed.

The Awards Committee recommends candidates for the SEGJ Award to the Council.
